about us
Our story
The Safari Industry is one of the most important economic sectors of Botswana and drives economic growth, provides numerous employment opportunities and underlies large streams of money flowing into Botswana. Though, very little of these cash flows actually reach communities and their infrastructures. At the same time, of the large number of tourists driving and flying in and
out of National Parks, a negligible fraction of people are actually from Botswana. The majority of community residents have never been to the National Parks they are surrounded by and that attract people from all over the globe.
Our mobile safari company emerges from a community of the Chobe Area belonging to the Veekuhane tribe and is 100% locally owned. The founding intention of our business is for our operations to direct cash flows in a way that they in fact do reach communities and thereby support communal infrastructures. Hereby we want to set a leading example for the industry to rethink cash flow creation under a social justice lens. It is also a matter of heart to us to make
Botswana National Parks more accessible to the people of our land, which is why we use 5% of our income to organise daytrips into Chobe National Park for residents of our communities.
